The Amalfi Coast and Atrani
The Amalfi Coast is the stretch of coastline between Sorrento and
Salerno, and it's renowned for its beauty, its hospitality, its
cuisine, and its charm.
The most famous towns of the Amalfi Coast are Amalfi, Atrani,
Ravello, and Positano. Each one of these centres has its own interesting
sites, traditions, and recipes.
Amalfi is the very heart of the Amalfi Coast, and it used to be
the town where the dukes of 'Malfi managed politics and economics
since the early Renaissance.
Atrani, which is just six hundred metres from Amalfi, was the
former residence of the dukes and aristocrats from Amalfi, and
it is where our bed and breakfast is located.
The Amalfi Coast now features modern comforts and services, but
kept its ancient beauty and character.
